Origins:
Azenhas do Mar es una pequeña aldea costera situada en los acantilados del litoral atlántico, en la región de Sintra. Su nombre significa “Molinos del Mar”, reflejando la presencia histórica de molinos de agua utilizados por las comunidades locales.
Middle Ages:
Durante siglos, fue un pueblo pesquero y agrícola, con casas blancas encaramadas en los acantilados y una fuerte conexión con el mar.
19th Century:
A partir del siglo XX, su belleza natural y su piscina oceánica atrajeron visitantes, convirtiéndola en un destino pintoresco y exclusivo.
Present:
Hoy es famosa por sus vistas espectaculares, restaurantes con gastronomía local y su ambiente tranquilo, manteniendo el encanto tradicional junto al océano.
Tiene unas vistas que son una pasada y una playa enorme de camino al pueblo que prácticamente llega hasta él, con unas olas también enormes.
