Hola, somos José (47 años) y Mamen (46) —en 2025— y, como muchos de vosotros, somos unos apasionados de los viajes. Durante años pensamos en crear un blog para compartir nuestras guías y experiencias, igual que otros viajeros nos han ayudado con las suyas. Aunque al principio nos daba pereza arrancar… ¡por fin nos hemos lanzado!

Why “Bad Envy”?

Because we don't believe in healthy envy when it comes to travel .
We all want holidays, getaways, adventures… and yes, we are very envious of how much people travel.
Así que decidimos compartir también nuestros viajes.

What will you find here?

We're not talking about recommendations from others or places we don't know. They might not always be the best, but they're real and based on our own experiences.

Practical and downloadable guides:

Before each trip, we prepare our routes by searching dozens of sources.
That's why our guides are very comprehensive, and once the trip is over we revise them to add information or correct any data that is incorrect.
We publish them in Word format so you can download, edit, and adapt them to your liking.
They include interactive links, such as maps that open directly on the mobile device with the complete route.
The routes start and end at our accommodation, but you can easily change it to your own.

Churches yes, museums no?

You'll see many churches on our routes, not for religious reasons, but because we love their architecture.
Museums, on the other hand, don't usually appear... they bore us!

Trips for couples (without children):

La mayoría de nuestras escapadas son de fin de semana o con algún día extra, y las hacemos en pareja (sin los adolescentes), aunque también viajamos con ellos en Nochebuena-Navidad y verano solemos irnos fuera pero más enfocado a hoteles todo incluido.
We like to walk a lot and make the most of our time, so we always look for affordable options.
We've included prices and dates for your reference, even though it may have been some time since the trip.
All trips depart from and return to Madrid, which is where we live.
