El Zoquito Restaurant:
It's not a very big place, but it's cozy, well-decorated, and pleasant. It wasn't very crowded despite being a Thursday, but that didn't deter us. We didn't have a reservation, but we assume it's advisable to request one for another day.
The service was good, the food was decent though not perfect, well-presented, and the portions were reasonable depending on the dish. Prices weren't excessive, but there's always room for improvement. The wine was particularly expensive; they could consider pricing it more competitively.
Menu 📋 and Prices 💰
We ask:
- Pork belly with smashed potatoes: They were very tasty, cooked to perfection, although a little more quantity wouldn't hurt.
- Candied artichokes: They weren't the best, but they were very tasty; it came with two units.
- Candied secret: This is perhaps what we liked least; it had a strong vinegary taste (not that it was bad) but we missed a slightly sweeter flavor.
- Cheesecake: Very tasty, highly recommended and of considerable size, even though the photo doesn't show it.
