Calas de Ardoz (restarurante)
Yes, we liked it.

A new gastronomic experience in Torrejón.

Located on Avenida de la Constitución, Calas de Ardoz has been revitalized after changing ownership at the end of last year. This Spanish restaurant has quickly become one of Torrejón de Ardoz's culinary landmarks, thanks to a transformation that has elevated both its service and cuisine.

From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a modern, welcoming, and bright atmosphere, complete with a glass-enclosed terrace that invites you to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly, professional, and always attentive to detail, making each visit a pleasant and personalized experience.

The menu, designed by chef Erick, and with the incredible benefit of being served by our waitress Ana, who gave us excellent advice and made us feel right at home, offers dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients and presented with meticulous care. Among the most popular specialties are grilled avocado, cod cubes, sea bass carpaccio, rice with Iberian pork and truffle, and mixed croquettes. They also boast an excellent wine selection at reasonable prices.

Although Calas de Ardoz isn't a cheap restaurant, its culinary offerings justify every euro spent. It's ideal for those looking for well-prepared food, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service.

If you're looking for a quality alternative in Torrejón, Calas de Ardoz is definitely a safe bet.

These were our dishes:

  • As a tapa they brought us: some olives and some yucca slices with hummus; we have to say that we don't usually like it, but in this case, we scraped the bowl clean.

  • For starters we ordered grilled scallops with kimchi, which were delicious.

  • Braised octopus. It's the best we've ever had; it's true it wasn't very big, but it was beyond delicious.

  • Matured beef sirloin with Padrón peppers, this one gets our worst rating because, although it was tasty, we felt it was very dry. We ordered half medium and the other half medium+ but the feeling of both was the same.

  • A Ribera del Duero wine (Emilio Moro) that is well-priced and delicious.

  • Dessert: Homemade cheesecake, very tasty.

  • To finish, a few shots of your choice, on the house.

We will definitely return because, 1st, we were very satisfied with everything mentioned above and 2nd, because there are many dishes on the menu that are calling our attention.

If you have any allergies, let us know when you order your drink and we'll take care of you 😊.
